Ford shutting Chariot micro-transit service, including Columbus routes

Ford Motor Co. is ending its Chariot micro-transit service for employers globally, one year after bringing it to Columbus. The connected shuttle service launched last January as a Smart Columbus initiative offering rides to commuters to JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s sprawling McCoy Center complex in the Polaris area. It had no public routes in the region. Chariot's last commuter routes in the U.S. will run Feb. 1, a week after stopping service in the United Kingdom, the service said in a blog post Thursday.…
