Before Ohio tests how drones can help with highway emergencies by providing real-time data to first responders, the state will develop its first air-traffic management system called FlyOhio.
The program was first proposed in the summer, and now is being implemented at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport. Additional testing will to take place along the Rt. 33 Smart Mobility Corridor with help from Ohio State University.
