Police: Kindergartner brought gun to Columbus school


COLUMBUS, Ohio – A gun was taken from a kindergartner at Columbus Africentric Early College on Friday, according to Columbus police.Police said someone called the school to say they saw a student walking into the school and it looked like the student was carrying something heavy in their pants.The student was stopped upon entry to the school, which is K-12, and the handgun was taken away.The Columbus Division of Police Gun Crimes Unit is investigating.
