A Loveland-based manufacturer plans to acquire the shuttered Lordstown General Motors plant and will build electric trucks there, President Donald Trump announced Wednesday on Twitter.
“Great news for Ohio!” Trump tweeted, saying that he had spoken with GM CEO Mary Barra about the sale. “GM will be selling their beautiful Lordstown plant to Workhorse, where they plan to build electric trucks.”
