COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A favorite downtown Columbus tradition is back in business.The Pearl Market opened its 29th season Friday.The open-air farmers market happens every year from May to October on Pearl Alley at Gay Street in downtown Columbus.You'll find everything from local produce, to baked goods, housewares and art.This year, there are changes due to COVID-19, including sanitation stations and sadly, fewer vendors than years past."Unfortunately, COVID has affected some of our small business people to the point they have gone out of business and they're not able to participate this year," said manager Sam Sharkey.
