A 1-month old baby lost its life Tuesday night after likely being left in a hot car according to the Muskingum County Sheriff.The sheriff received a 911 call at 6:25 p.m. to the first block of Eagle View Drive and upon arrival, found an unresponsive baby. Deputies and EMS performed CPR, but the baby could not be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at the scene.The investigation is ongoing, however, the preliminary indication is that the baby was left in a vehicle outside the residence, the Sheriff said. It appears that the baby died as a result of the high temperatures.An autopsy will be performed on the baby. No arrests have been made at this time.
