WESTERVILLE, Ohio – A 14-year-old middle school student is charged after Genoa Township police said the student brought a BB gun to a football game.Police were notified by students that another student was carrying a gun at the game on Aug. 31, Genoa Township Police Chief Steve Gammill said in a community e-mail.Gammill said officers did not find anyone at the game matching the limited description information they had.Police were made aware of a picture on social media on Saturday.The picture was of the student showing what appeared to be a gun in his waistband while at the stadium, according to police.Police were able to identify the student thanks to several tips and the 14-year-old was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor.“This incident could...
