BARBERTON, Ohio - One man was taken into custody after police said he fired his gun at officers in northeast Ohio Tuesday evening.Police said they received a call around 7 p.m. about a man with an assault rifle outside a storage unit on Barber Road in Barberton, Ohio, just southwest of Akron.Police said when officers responded, the man shot at them and police exchanged gunfire with the suspect.The man was shot at least once during the exchange and was taken to Akron General Hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds, according to police.The man was identified by police as David Havrilek, 41, of Akron.Police said Havrilek was conscious when he was taken to the hospital but did not say anything.Officers secured the area and determined there were no...
