Finally, a sale.
A Columbus Crew SC spokesman said Thursday the team will pay Nationwide Realty Investors Ltd. $25.7 million for the land where the $300 million Arena District soccer stadium will sit.
Thursday morning, hours before the groundbreaking was scheduled to begin, the team and Nationwide announced the long-awaited deal would close "by the end of the month."
